Rod Argent-The Zombies/Argent

 

Rods music career goes back some time and he'ss had great success  with song writing  with The Zombies in the 1960s and then in the 1970s with Argent  when he teamed up with another great song writer Russ Ballard. Here he talks about the history of both bands and how he first go into music

He was lead guitarist with Genesis as part of

their classic line up with Gabriel, Collins, Banks and Rutherford, and in 2020 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Genesis in 2010. Since then has performed his new work and classic Genesis music

He re-united Steve Parsons for a new project, King Mob, featuring Martin Chambers (ex-The Pretenders) on drums, Glen Matlock (ex-Sex Pistols) on bass and a new guitarist, named 'Sixteen'. Their debut album, Force 9, was released on the Steamhammer label, in November 2011. Chris has played with many big names and of course he's known for the single motor-biking and he played on War Of The Worlds
